Perifora

Exploring the relationship between movement, perception, and cosmic balance, Perifora is a sculptural wall lamp developed within the collaborative practice of NO ON studio by Yulian Mikov and Dimitar Vranchev.

The concept draws inspiration from the orbital movement of celestial bodies around their nearest star and the eclipses that emerge depending on the observer’s perspective. Derived from the Greek word περιφορά - meaning “orbit” - Perifora reflects the invisible trajectories and alignments that shape our perception of light, shadow, and spatial presence.

Entirely handcrafted from specially treated steel and neon, the piece balances industrial materiality with an atmospheric luminous quality. Part of the τροχιά collection, Perifora is conceived as both a collectible design object and a functional lighting element, designed to create mood, depth, and visual rhythm within interior environments.

Its minimal geometric composition allows it to integrate naturally into a wide range of contemporary spaces, including living rooms, bedrooms, hospitality interiors, bars, hotel foyers, offices, and architectural settings.

More than a lighting object, Perifora represents a reflection on motion, perception, and the ever-changing relationship between light and form.
