Family house
Located in Dragichevo, near Sofia, this family house project explores an eclectic interior language where memory, craftsmanship, and contemporary living coexist in balance. The concept was built around the integration of restored vintage furniture pieces, personally valued by the homeowners, combined with a modern architectural approach and carefully curated natural materials.
The interior blends contrasting textures and tones through the use of marble, wood, and metal, creating a layered yet harmonious spatial atmosphere. Despite the diversity of materials and stylistic references, the entire space is unified through the consistent presence of natural oak veneer and solid oak elements, which establish warmth, continuity, and timeless character throughout the house.
The project focuses on creating a lived-in and emotionally resonant environment - one that preserves the identity and personal history of its inhabitants while introducing a refined contemporary aesthetic. Through the balance of old and new, raw and refined, the space achieves a calm and authentic sense of domesticity.
